St. Agnes Pole Vaulter Competes in Sugar Bowl Track & Field Classic

St. Agnes Academy junior Kate Sander competed at the 2019 Allstate Sugar Bowl Track and Field Classic in New Orleans March 22-23 where she came in second in pole vault clearing 11-06.
The Allstate Sugar Bowl Track & Field Classic is recognized as one of the top high school track and field classics in the Southeast region. It annually features over 100 boys’ and girls’ teams and 2,000 student-athletes.
Kate is the 2018 TSSAA state outdoor champion, and she is the 2019 Tennessee state indoor runner-up.
