Students Receive College Board Recognition

Eleven St. Agnes Academy students have earned national recognition from the College Board for outstanding achievement on the Spring 2026 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test and for overall academic excellence.

Senior Anna Wilson was named a National Merit Commended Student by the National Merit Scholarship Program. Students qualify for National Merit recognition based on their scores from the junior year PSAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. Over 1.4 million juniors take the PSAT and only 50,000 qualify for National Merit Recognition. Anna will receive a Letter of Commendation in recognition of her outstanding academic promise, ranking her among the top 3-4% of students.

To qualify for the School Recognition Award, students must either score in the top 10% of their high school’s test-takers on the PSAT/NMSQT and/or earn a 3 or higher on two or more AP exams, along with a cumulative GPA of a B+ or higher. This recognition honors high-performing students to help them stand out to colleges and celebrate their hard work.
